Element-ary History

I chose Aluminum as my element. I think it's so cool how many reactions this element can have. Hans Christian Oersted founded the element. Before hand, scientists were finding little bits of metal in Alum, and were trying to discover what it was, but Oersted was the first one to actually discover it.

Oersted discovered aluminum when he was testing on alum and found small bits of metal. Scientists before had seen the foreign pieces of metal, but Oersted was the first to go in depth study.

We find aluminum in many everyday things. Such as mail boxes, bike frames, ladders, furniture, pots, pans, and much more.

Aluminum is found as mostly an element. It is located in column 13, period 3 in the periodic table.
